Privacy Policy

Mosque Spot ("the app") is built with privacy in mind. We don't show ads, and we don't
sell your data. We do collect lightweight usage analytics through Firebase Analytics
so we can understand how the app is used and improve it — see the Analytics section
below for the full list of events. This page explains the data the app sends off your
device, why, and to whom.
What we collect
Linked to your identity (only if you sign in)
- Name, email, profile photo — provided by Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In if you choose to sign in. Stored by Firebase Auth (a Google service) and used solely to keep you signed in across devices.
- User ID — a Firebase-generated identifier tied to your sign-in account.
Sign-in is optional. You can use the app without signing in.
Not linked to your identity
- Precise location — sent to Google Maps Places API and Aladhan to find nearby mosques and compute prayer times for your location. Not stored against any account on our side.
- Photos — when you use the camera to identify a mosque, the photo is sent to Google Gemini and Google Cloud Vision for image analysis. Not retained by us.
- Device ID — RevenueCat (our in-app purchase processor) uses an anonymous device ID to validate purchase receipts.
- Purchase history — handled by Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat. We see aggregate purchase counts but not individual purchase details linked to your sign-in identity.
What we don't collect
- No advertising SDKs, no ad targeting
- No tracking across other apps or websites
- No crash reporting beyond Apple's standard system reports
- No push notifications — prayer reminders are scheduled locally on your device
- Your saved mosques stay on your device
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how the app is used — which screens
are opened, how often features like mosque identification or prayer-time reminders
are used, and whether in-app tips complete successfully. The events we record are:
screen views, sign in / sign out, mosque view, mosque identification, and tip
purchase result.
When you are signed in, your Firebase user ID is linked with your device's IDFV so
we can count unique users without seeing your name or email in the analytics
dashboard. The app does not collect IDFA, does not
show the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt, and does not
share data with any company for advertising. Firebase also reports anonymous
performance and diagnostic data (app launch time, network errors, etc.) to help us
catch slowdowns.
You can disable analytics collection by deleting the app.
Third parties we send data to
- Apple — sign-in, in-app purchases, app distribution
- Google (Firebase) — sign-in, account storage, Firebase Analytics (anonymized usage events)
- Google Maps Platform — Places API, Maps SDK (location, search queries)
- Google AI — Gemini and Cloud Vision (mosque image identification)
- Aladhan API — prayer times (location)
- RevenueCat — purchase receipt validation (anonymous device ID)
- Wikipedia API — public mosque information (no personal data)
Each third party has its own privacy policy and retention practices. We do not control how long they retain the data we send them.
Children
Mosque Spot is suitable for all ages but is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Your rights
If you signed in and want your account and associated data deleted, email us at privacy@hangicami.com. We will delete your Firebase Auth record within 14 days.
Data sent to third parties (Google, Apple, etc.) must be requested separately from those providers under their own processes.
Changes to this policy
If we change what data we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced inside the app.

Hangi Cami ("uygulama") gizlilik düşünülerek tasarlandı. Reklam göstermiyoruz ve
verilerinizi satmıyoruz. Uygulamanın nasıl kullanıldığını anlamak ve geliştirmek
için Firebase Analytics ile hafif kullanım analitiği topluyoruz — kaydettiğimiz
olayların tam listesi için aşağıdaki Analitik bölümüne bakınız. Bu sayfa,
uygulamanın cihazınızdan dışarı göndermesi gereken veriyi, neden ve kime
gönderildiğini açıklar.
Ne topluyoruz
Kimliğinize bağlı (yalnızca giriş yaparsanız)
- İsim, e-posta, profil fotoğrafı — Apple ile Giriş veya Google ile Giriş seçtiğinizde sağlanır. Firebase Auth (bir Google servisi) tarafından saklanır ve sadece cihazlar arası oturumunuzu açık tutmak için kullanılır.
- Kullanıcı kimliği — giriş hesabınıza bağlı, Firebase tarafından üretilen bir tanımlayıcı.
Giriş yapmak isteğe bağlıdır. Uygulamayı giriş yapmadan da kullanabilirsiniz.
Kimliğinize bağlı değil
- Hassas konum — yakındaki camileri bulmak ve namaz vakitlerini hesaplamak için Google Maps Places API ve Aladhan'a gönderilir. Bizim tarafımızda herhangi bir hesaba bağlanmadan tutulmaz.
- Fotoğraflar — kameranızla bir camiyi tanımak istediğinizde, fotoğraf görüntü analizi için Google Gemini ve Google Cloud Vision'a gönderilir. Bizim tarafımızda saklanmaz.
- Cihaz kimliği — RevenueCat (uygulama içi satın alma sağlayıcımız), satın alma makbuzlarını doğrulamak için anonim bir cihaz kimliği kullanır.
- Satın alma geçmişi — Apple StoreKit ve RevenueCat tarafından yönetilir. Toplu satın alma sayılarını görürüz ancak giriş kimliğinize bağlı bireysel satın alma detaylarını görmeyiz.
Ne toplamıyoruz
- Reklam SDK'ları yok, reklam hedefleme yok
- Diğer uygulama veya web sitelerinde takip yok
- Apple'ın standart sistem raporlarının ötesinde çökme raporlama yok
- Push bildirimi yok — namaz hatırlatıcıları cihazınızda yerel olarak planlanır
- Kayıtlı camileriniz cihazınızda kalır
Analitik
Uygulamanın nasıl kullanıldığını anlamak için Firebase Analytics (Google)
kullanıyoruz — hangi ekranların açıldığı, cami tanımlama veya ezan hatırlatıcı gibi
özelliklerin ne sıklıkta kullanıldığı ve uygulama içi bağışların başarıyla
tamamlanıp tamamlanmadığı. Kaydettiğimiz olaylar: ekran görüntülemeleri, giriş /
çıkış, cami görüntüleme, cami tanımlama ve bağış sonucu.
Hesabınızla giriş yaptığınızda, Firebase kullanıcı kimliğiniz cihazınızın IDFV'si
ile eşleştirilir; böylece adınızı veya e-postanızı analitik panelinde görmeden
tekil kullanıcı sayısını hesaplayabiliriz. Uygulama IDFA toplamaz,
App Tracking Transparency (ATT) sorusunu göstermez ve hiçbir
veriyi reklam amacıyla başka bir şirketle paylaşmaz. Firebase
ayrıca yavaşlamaları tespit etmek için anonim performans ve teşhis verilerini
(uygulama açılış süresi, ağ hataları vb.) raporlar.
Analitik toplanmasını durdurmak için uygulamayı silebilirsiniz.

Her üçüncü tarafın kendi gizlilik politikası ve veri saklama uygulamaları vardır. Onlara gönderdiğimiz veriyi ne kadar süre tuttuklarını kontrol etmiyoruz.
Çocuklar
Hangi Cami her yaşa uygundur ancak özellikle 13 yaş altı çocuklara yönelik değildir. 13 yaş altı çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamıyoruz.
Haklarınız
Giriş yaptıysanız ve hesabınızın ve ilgili verilerin silinmesini istiyorsanız, privacy@hangicami.com adresine e-posta gönderin. Firebase Auth kaydınızı 14 gün içinde sileceğiz.
Üçüncü taraflara (Google, Apple vb.) gönderilen veriler, kendi süreçleri kapsamında o sağlayıcılardan ayrıca talep edilmelidir.
Bu politikadaki değişiklikler
Hangi verileri topladığımızı veya nasıl kullandığımızı değiştirirsek, bu sayfayı ve yukarıdaki "Son güncelleme" tarihini güncelleyeceğiz. Önemli değişiklikler uygulama içinde duyurulacaktır.
